Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and Beit Shemesh Mayor Dr. Aliza Bloch on Tuesday morning took part in a ribbing cutting ceremony to officially open the city’s new Health Ministry office. While Litzman was there he took advantage of the opportunity to get a flu vaccination to send a message to Israelis that winter is moving in and it’s time to vaccinate.

Also present was Deputy Mayor Yeshayahu Ehrenreich, and the Deputy Director-General of the Health Ministry, Prof. Itamar Gruto, head of the ministry’s public health unit, Prof. Sigal Saditzky and others.

Litzman’s message to the public is that it is important to get vaccinated ahead of winter, especially those persons in high-risk groups.
