Arab MK Jamal Zahalka spoke about Arabs and Jews working together to eliminate racism, referring to the Governance Bill that raises the minimum threshold to enter Knesset from 2% to 4%, a death sentence for the small Arab parties.
In his anger the Arab MK shouted “We were here before you and we will remain after you”. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu took the podium after him and corrected him, saying “The first part is incorrect and the second part will not occur”.
