NY State Police Release Names Of 2 Men Hurt In Wurtsboro Plane Crash


nysp2Authorities have released more details on the crash of a small seaplane in southeastern New York, including the names of the two men who were injured.

State police say 58-year-old Robert Pullman of Wurtsboro was flying the 2010 A-22 Valor single-engine aircraft from Masten Lake to Wurtsboro Airport when it crashed into a wooded area around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in his Sullivan County hometown, about 70 miles northwest of New York City.

Troopers say he and his passenger, 69-year-old Donald Pullman of Manhattan, were treated for minor injuries at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. Police didn’t say how the men are related.

Police say the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
