Motzei Shabbos News Round-Up From Israel


Over the course of Shabbos, four Palestinians from the Gaza strip cut through the security fence and crossed over into Israel. After a short time, the four returned to the Gaza Strip. Israeli security forces are investigating the incident.

IDF forces closed the entrance to agriculture lands near Naharayim ahead of the transfer of the area to Jordanian control tomorrow. Israelis will no longer be allowed into the area to tend the fields there.

Arabs threw cinder blocks at Israeli police who responded to a call of violence in the Arab-Israeli town of Kfar Nachaf in the Galilee. One officer was injured when his hand was broken as a result of being hit by one of the blocks. The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment. An Arab man has barricaded himself in his home with a knife and threatened to harm himself. Three Arab men were taken into custody as a result of the incident.

A former Iranian high ranking official claims that the aerial vehicle that was downed in Western Iran was an Israeli drone.

Two teenagers were seriously injured after their car flipped over on Highway 31 heading down to the Dead Sea. The car they were riding in flipped off the highway and into a ditch in an open area.

Two other teens were seriously injured in a different car accident that took place near Daliyat al-HaCarmel. The vehicle they were driving in crashed into a tree.

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured on Ben Gurion Boulevard in Tel Aviv when his electric scooter was hit by a car.

Two men were seriously injured in during an outbreak of violence on Shavei Tzion Street in Ashdod.

A 47-year-old was pronounced dead after he lost consciousness while driving his car on Beit HaKerem Boulevard in Carmiel. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS crews that arrived to treat him.
