AJ: (to continue my other comment…) Unless you’re excluding non-violent property crimes in those figures. About wo crimes a month in a city of over eight million citizens, including two million Jews, seems rather very low. Many other cities with a much lower population, and an even lower proportion of Jews as part of the population, have higher crime figures. NYC has the lowest crime figures of any big city in the United States, per the FBI crime statistics.
