I visited Tel Aviv recently. It is impossible to go anywhere in rush hour in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, it is the greatest city I have ever visited. Even the overpriced kosher food is reasonably overpriced.
most of the streets in Israel, meaning TA, Jerusalem, etc were built many years ago before most people had cars. 40 years ago people were still poor; today, wealth is everywhere and it is reflected in the numerous autos which congest the city.
But these cities are not congested in terms of living life and enjoying the out doors. Plenty of open areas….
