One of the Roshei Yeshiva of Mir Brachfeld, HaGaon Rav Avraham Yitzchak Brazel (ברזל), was diagnosed with a difficult illness before Rosh Hashanah and began treatment, but this was not made public until now. The bochrim were made aware of the rav’s condition on Shabbos.

Rosh Yeshivas Mir Brachfeld HaGaon Rav Noam Alon spoke with hundreds of bochrim on Friday night and announced the seder limud on motzei Shabbos will be dedicated to the rav’s refuah, Avraham Yitzchak Brazel ben Chana Mara (מערא) bsoch cholei yisrael.

It was also decided that there will be special tefilos in the yeshiva on the next three motzei Shabbatot at 11:20PM, chatzos, at which time Tehillim and Yud Gimel Midos will be recited at the siyum of the seder for the rav’s refuah.
