Dozens of soldiers were stopped from visiting the city of Elad when their bus was surrounded by Peleg Yerushalmi protesters from the city. The protesters shouted at the soldiers to “stop polluting our sons and daughters”. The protesters blocked the road and surrounded the bus.
The bus was carrying soldiers from the conscription office in Tel Hashomer who were on a tour to see Chareidi communities so that they could better understand the Chareidi sector of the population. They visited various locations in the city of Bnei Brak and attempted to visit Elad as well.
According to BChadrei Charedim, the prםtest took place after it was made public knowledge that the tour would stop at the Yeshiva of Beit Shemaya. It turns out the publication was false in order to throw off the protesters. The ruse worked and protesters came to the Yeshiva in order to protest the soldiers presence, but there was no one against whom they could protest.
However, when the bus arrived at the entrance to the city of Elad, they were met with dozens of protesters, who issued curses and insults at the soldiers and even threw items at them and the bus.

Police who were on location did not succeed at gaining control of the crowd. It took more than an hour for the police to extricate the bus from amid the protesters and escort the soldiers out of Elad.
One of the soldiers told BeChadrei: “It is quite sad that this is the reception that we received when we coming on a trip to get to the Chareidi community better. I somewhat know the Charedi community, but I did not fathom that they would be capable of this. Where is their Ahavat Yisroel?”

Me had seen many religious Jews in bnei brak, parts of israel, in america and many are bright, smart, motivated, driven, many are even interested in current day careers like doctors, lawyers, engineers, cyber fighters, etc…
These icdks do not represent religious Jewry and certainly not judaism in general and they are huge embarrassment to all of us and even the glorious chaim kanievsky threw up as he spoke about these bunch…
They should move into Gaza and see how much more royalty they would receive if they did this – they would be slaughtered and turned into processed meat and be eaten by them and their beasts…
Netanyahu has ignored this situation since he came into office, he even gives money to these schmoes and funds their cancerous meetings (yeshivas)!
My solution would be to shoot them all dead, murder their whole families, murder the so-called rabbis who educate them, burn their schools to the ground and have blue and white and hair lapid make new laws and regulations in Israel and force real education in every school in israel
The soldier’s comment is ridiculous. Typical Israeli shaming. the military isn’t trying to develop a kesher with the community. There’s no such thing in israel as building bridges. They are trying to con more charedim into joining the army of apikorsim.
These TRAITOROUS criminally insane savages should have been run over by the bus,and then deported to their friends in Gaza and have the hospitals over there mend their broken bones
Chugibugi……U’men va U’mein. I couldn’t have stated it more elegantly without crossing the posting guidelines. I’m so sick and tired of reading these stories of a fringe group of Chareidim acting like animals attacking the very people whose mesiras nefesh keeps them safe to act like savages. It also feeds the naarative of all Chareidim acting this way even though its consistently a fringe element of the Chareidi tzibur.
