Dear CT etal. A few blocks down on Valentine was Reb Mendel Chodorov’s shul. Congregation Mirkaz Harav. He was a product of the Vishnitz dynasty. A big Talmid Chochom and the Rabbi of Goodmans Matzah. The apartments were beautiful there but later on the city considered Valentine Avenue as one of the most crime ridden . Next post I will identify the last Rabbi of the Schiff Center who was also a postman, if I remember.
