The 52-year-old victim of Wednesday’s stabbing attack in Liberty Bell Park is listed in moderate-to-serious condition in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. The man was stabbed in his chest and back in a terror attack on 17 Menachem Av 5773 close to 16:00.

The victim got himself to his vehicle in an effort to evacuate himself from the scene but when he reached Kovshei Katamon Street in Katamon, he called for assistance, unable to continue.

Police have not stated with absolute but it appears to have been a terror attack. The victim told police that an Arab male attacked him.

Security and intelligence officials warn there may be an escalation in terror amid reports that negotiations between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) are scheduled to resume, on Tuesday, 23 Menachem Av in Washington, DC.
