The first attack on Thursday against buses heading to the Kosel came on during the morning hours of 18 Menachem Av 5773. One passenger sustained light injuries from glass shards. The Arab attackers were not apprehended.
According to a Ichud Hatzalah report at 15:01, two additional buses heading to the Kosel were targeted by Arabs hurling rocks. This time ten people were injured including a 4-year-old boy. One of the injured passengers was described in moderate condition. The victims were transported to a local hospital.
