Another cute anecdote I heard of an adam gadol riding on a bus in Eretz Yisroel. A woman went and sat down beside him.. He didn’t want to embarrass her and get up.. So he told he in a hushed tone “btw I have Cruspadin”. And she rushed out. (Cruspadin is the targum for Tzitzis!)
