Over one hundred people on Friday returned to the northern Shomron, the site of the former communities of Chomesh and nearby SaNur, which were destroyed by the Sharon government’s implementation of the Disengagement Plan.

They set up tents and indicated they plan to stay as efforts to renew the communities continue.

On Thursday, with IDF permission, many took part in an Independence Day march to Chomesh, vowing to one day return and rebuild the community.
