Firefighters were battling a three alarm blaze in a private home in Midwood, Monday night.

At around 9:00PM the FDNY arrived at the scene at 312 Parkville Avenue near East 8th Street, and quickly called for additional manpower due to the heavy fire conditions in the home.

It escalated to a Three Alarm response in just minutes.

There did not appear to be any injuries.
