U.S. stocks advanced, rebounding from their biggest drop in a month:
The S&P 500 added 5.12, or 0.4 percent, to 1,397.69. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 52.76, or 0.4 percent, to 12,867.11. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 12.75, or 0.5 percent, to 2,451.24.
