NYC: Thunderstorms Likely as Heat Wave Ends


weatherThe cold front that moved into the region Saturday night is expected to put an end to the longest heat wave in more than a decade, but it’s also bringing a chance of thunderstorms Sunday and most days this week.

Sunday’s high is expected to be 88 degrees with temperatures steadily dropping as the week progresses. Thunderstorms are forecast for most afternoons and evenings this week.
