PM Netanyahu’s Remarks on the Resumption of the Diplomatic Process with the PA

bibnPrime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on motzei Shabbos Nachamu 5773, released the following statement in the wake of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s announcement on the resumption of the diplomatic process between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority).

“I view the resumption of the diplomatic process at this time as a vital strategic interest of the State of Israel. It is important in and of itself in order to try and bring about the conclusion of the conflict between us and the Palestinians, and it is important in light of the strategic challenges that are before us, mainly from Iran and Syria.

“With the resumption of the diplomatic process, we are faced with two main goals: Preventing the creation of a bi-national state between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River that would endanger the future of the Jewish state and preventing the establishment of an additional Iranian-sponsored terrorist state on Israel’s borders, which would endanger us no less.

“I would like to thank US Secretary of State John Kerry for putting in the great efforts that have led to the resumption of the process. I expect that the talks will be conducted in a serious and responsible manner.

“As Prime Minister of Israel, I am committed, first and foremost, to the security of the citizens of Israel and I will strongly uphold the security demands of the State of Israel, as well as its vital interests.”

  1. Netanyahu and the other ministers are blind fools. Can’t they see that this and the EU’s boycotting is all Hashem’s doing because of their eagerness to destroy Torah and Yiddishkeit? If Israel would stop chillul Shabbat, selling pork, doing immoral stuff, discriminating against charedim and trampling on the Torah, the goyim will stop trampling on Israel.

If Israel is a Jewish state, let it be so, otherwise what right do you have throwing Arabs out of Israel?

  2. Sifsei Chaim, right after Tish’ah B’Av, really?! Who gives you the right to curse anyone? None of us know what HaShem’s plan is. Bibi is just a tool of His. You can daven and say Tehillim if you want. But what you are doing is no different than striking a fellow Yid. Shame on you. Stop spending your time cursing people on the Internet and sit in the beis medrash learning and building up zchusim for klal Yisroel.

  3. Mr. Netanyahu had no choices here. Didn’t any of the brilliant commenters above read about Osama using the EU to force Israel into a corner?! If he sidesteps Obama, he will lose vital support in the most crucial period regarding Iran. Osama knows this and will use every bit of leverage he has so HE can go down in history as the only president able to bring peace between Israel and the Palestinians. It will never happen but let him waste his time on something!

  4. shame on me?! bibi is a rotzeach.
every time they talk about giving land it strenthens the arabs and makes them more demanding every time they give away land it causes more terror. bibi is a rasha he is responsible for every single death that was caused by leaving gaza which he voted for. he will be responsible for deaths that result from giving away land. every terrorist he frees will kill more yidden and it will be his fault.
