An IDF soldier was seriously injured after being struck in his head with a rock during non-operational activities.

According to the IDF Spokesman’s Office message, the soldier was seriously injured when struck in his head with a rock in northern Israel, citing the circumstances surrounding the injury were not related to military activities.

Military police are probing the case and upon completion of the investigation, the military police will pass the case on to the office of the Judge Advocate General.
