A pipe bomb was hurled at the border police operating in the Jerusalem district during the night. The pipe bomb did not detonate. Two suspects on the scene were taken into custody.
During border police operation in the Arab neighborhood of Issawiya, a pipe bomb which did not explode was hurled at the force. The force detected two persons in a nearby building and they were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the attack.
Police bomb sappers were summoned to the scene to neutralize the pipe bomb.
Border police operating in Issawiya during the night were also attacked with rocks and fireworks. One policeman suffered light injury. He was treated at a medical facility and released.
