Israel Police’s ‘Make a Wish’ vehicle arrived in Jerusalem to surprise two six-year-old boys on Monday morning, Itamar and Adam.

The two dream of becoming policemen, even for a single day, and the policemen in the capital provided the two with their wish; making them policemen for a day. They arrived during the early morning hours, and they were given police uniforms and identification cards. They began with an area patrol in a marked vehicle, and permitted to activate the various electronic devices installed in the vehicle.

When they arrived at the station, they spent time with crime scene forensic experts, the K-9 unit, bomb sappers and other specialists in the department. At some point, an informal ceremony was held during which their rank was placed on the epaulets of their uniforms.
