New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli has raised $638,000 so far this year, giving him $1.15 million for his 2014 re-election campaign.

The Long Island Democrat and ex-assemblyman was first chosen by colleagues for the post after Comptroller Alan Hevesi resigned amid scandal.

He won a four-year term in 2010 over Republican Harry Wilson, a former hedge fund manager.

The comptroller is the sole trustee of New York’s $160 billion pension fund for public workers. The office also audits spending by the state and local governments.

Filings at the Board of Elections show DiNapoli spent more than $187,000 since mid-January, including more than $49,000 to Tucker Green Consulting.

Donations include $15,000 each from Bernard Schwartz of Manhattan and Frank Castagna of Manhasset and $2,500 from former Lt. Gov. Richard Ravitch.
