4:30PM EST: A series of civil disobedience actions are underway throughout NYC Wednesday in response to the acquittals of three New York City undercover detectives in the killing Sean Bell on his wedding day.
The Rev. Al Sharpton is leading the protests aimed at putting pressure on federal authorities to bring civil rights charges against the officers in the case.
Simultaneous protests planned for 3 p.m. are being held in six key transit areas in the city.
YWN can confirm that many there is heavy traffic to many entrances and exits in and out of Manhattan.
As of this time, YWN has confirmed with the NYPD that at least 12 people have been arrested at the entrance to the Queens Midtown Tunnel.

One thing (of many) a person can say of Sharp-tongue is that he does what he says he is going to do.
It’s absolutely a blessing that it wasn’t a group of white police officers involved, or these animals would have rioted until there was nothing left of New York City but a pile of ashes.
