3:45PM EST: The Miami-Dade Fire Department said it was battling a brush fire in southern Miami-Dade County on Wednesday afternoon. The fire broke out in the area of Southwest 227th Avenue and Southwest 232nd Street. Helicopters were being brought in to fight the spreading blaze.
