Philosopher, you keep assuming that all the cases being brought under the CVA will be 50 year old cases in which a victim just woke up.
It’s just not so. The 38 victims who filed yesterday had all done so previously, but had their cases thrown out because the statute of limitations had already passed. The victims who filed against Rockefeller University had also previously filed. The old laws maximum ages of 21 and 23 was in many cases to soon before victims were emotionally ready to file.
