An Israeli child was attacked by a tiger in the Cosmoy Zoo, located in a Thailand. The boy is hospitalized in a local hospital in Thailand and is currently in stable condition. The boy’s grandfather fainted due to stress while the attack was taking place.

The incident occurred while the family was visiting an attraction at “Farm Island”. Due to the sheer distance between Farm Island and the nearest hospital, passersby took the victim directly to the hospital form the scene.

Following surgery, doctors said the child is in stable condition.

Israel’s Consul in Bangkok, Etti Mizrachi, is in constant communication with the family of the boy who was injured.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement which read: “Our consulate in Bangkok is doing everything we can to help out for him.”
