Four Beit Shemesh schools are including on the list of outstanding schools for the 5779 school year.

According to the Ministry of Education, which released the list on Wednesday, four schools in the city of Beit Shemesh are counted among the excellent schools in Israel for the last school year, 5779.

The schools are Branco Weiss High School, Branco Weiss Etgari, Ulpanat Ahavat Yisrael and Peninei Chen. They were selected among 288 upper division schools on the basis of social and educational achievement.

The reward for the winning teachers is up to NIS 8,451. Among the indices were achievement in the field of dropout prevention, absorption of special education students, recruitment to the IDF, civil service, percentage of matriculation eligibility, percentage of matriculation exams and the degree of improvement.
