Israel’s Population on Independence Day 60 – 7,282,000


The Central Bureau of Statistics reports that as we mark the nation’s 60th Independence Day, the population stands at 7,282,000.

This number includes 5,499,000 Jews, 75.5%, as well as 1,461,000 Arabs, 20.1%, and the remainder, 322,000 immigrants, representing 4.4%. The immigrants and their families are not registered as Jews.

156,400 infants were born in the past year, and 18,000 new immigrants arrived, contributing to the increase of 130,000.

The population is expected to reach 10 million by 2030, the Central Bureau of Statistics reports.

  1. These 322,000 not registered as Jews – do they not
    represent a 5th column? What’s the point of catering to a third of a million immigrants in Israel that are not Jews. If they cannot be miga-
    yer then let them be designated as Mi_ukav Giyur.
    If they are not interested in converting let’s exchange them for the poor Sudanese who would gladly convert or at least accept the status of
    Mi_ukav Giyur. This 1/3 million represent a time bomb. I say get rid of them now before the countdown reaches liftoff.
