The Yedidim organization has begun a nationwide campaign showing a small child saying “Mommy, daddy – don’t leave me alone!”.
The message is not to forget to take one’s child/infant out of a vehicle when parking, even for a short time, particularly now, during the summer months when a car heats up to a potentially lethal temperature in a relatively short time.
Just this week, an 11-month-old was rescued from a parked vehicle in Bnei Brak, not a moment too soon, as reported by YWN-Israel.
