An IDF soldier on Wednesday morning was listed in moderate condition due to heat exhaustion which occurred during a training exercise in southern Israel. The soldier was transported to a hospital.

Last month, an officer was injured moderately as well from heat exhaustion during an army race in the southern area. He too was hospitalized.

A week earlier, two soldier and two officers were injured from a rocket due to unexplained reasons, but the rocket exploded near the team during an exercise involving the entire company in the IDF Engineering School. IDF sources stated that it was a miracle that no one was killed in that explosions. The injured personnel were treated at a base medical facilty and then two of them were taken to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.
