A Twitter account appearing to be from the gunman who killed nine people in Dayton, Ohio, showed tweets labeling himself a “leftist,” bemoaning the election of President Donald Trump, supporting Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren and encouraging people to cut fences of immigrant detention centers.
While investigators try to determine a motive for Sunday’s attack by 24-year-old Connor Betts, his apparent account offers a window into his politics. It stands in contrast to the social media of El Paso shooting suspect Patrick Crusius, which appeared to support Trump.
Though the Twitter account @iamthespookster does not bear Betts’ name, it does include selfies that resemble known photos of him.
The Associated Press archived some of the feed but it was taken down by Twitter late Sunday amid speculation it belonged to Betts.
Dayton police didn’t immediately respond to comment requests about whether the account was authentic. Police in Betts’ suburban hometown of Bellbrook said they hadn’t been aware of his tweets before or after the shooting.

And the Democratic candidates were pretty vocal yesterday blaming Trump directly for the spirit in the USA that leads to mass murder. As is all the mass murders have taken place under Trump’s presidency! What a load of crock. And here’s a liberal mass murderer! Sorry to burst your balloon, Democrats.

AN it appears the shooter had “issues” but they don’t seem to be political.
I really don’t care if a shooter is Democrat, Republican, Black, White, Male, Female, etc. What’s tragic is that dozens of people were killed. Dozens will lose a parent, spouse, or child. With that said, not everyone has my same logic. Same folks (such as GadolHadora, crazykanoy) politicize it each and every time, quickly and without consideration for others, blame Trump and Republicans. These tragedies occurred when Obama was in the White House, and I didn’t blame Obama for the loss of innocent life- so clearly it’s selfish and misguided for them to blame Trump; ESPECIALLY when a killer is politically “one of theirs”.
It is obvious by now that with their leftist rhetoric and provocative statements Pocahontas, Bernie Sanders and all other 2020 Democrats have blood on their hands.
We don’t know the reason for the shooter in Las Vegas ys’v, not every crime is politically motivated but every one is horrific and evil. The El Paso shooter said why he did it. There so far is no obvious evidence for this murderer.
If Sayoc, the pipe bomb guy, was led to do it because of Trump – so we were all told then – then, by association, this guy with beliefs likened to Elizabeth Warren, should make her culpable! Dems philosophy but reversed!

There is no motive yet known for the Dayton shooting, but the El Paso killer made it very clear what he wanted to do. As rt says, not every mass murder is politically motivated. But the ones that aren’t don’t somehow make up for the ones that are. That guy in Pittsburgh was after me (and you, if you’re Jewish) and if we don’t get busy and do something about assault rifles in the hands of any anti-Semite, racist, mental case or just plain fool who wants one, the next bloodbath could easily ch”v be on 13th Avenue.

First, I apologize for being wrong and posting that he also was a Trump supporter. I was misinformed.
Second, the El Paso shooting was clearly motivated by hatred towards immigrants. Nineteen minutes before the first 911 call alerted the authorities to a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Tex., a hate-filled, anti-immigrant manifesto appeared online.
It spoke of a “Hispanic invasion of Texas.” It detailed a plan to separate America into territories by race. It warned that white people were being replaced by foreigners.
Third, we do not know the motivation for the Toledo shooting ( Sorry , another error , I mean Dayton). We do know he had major issues in the past and was expelled from High School due to them.
What would his motivation to kill his sister be – since he supports Elizabeth Warren? Do they chant at Warren rallies”Kill Your Sister”?
