Police undercover units working with border police arrested three suspects alleged to have participated in throwing firebombs at the Maale Zeitim neighborhood of the capital.

During the police operation, the force apprehended one suspect in the act, as he was targeting Maale Zeitim homes with firebombs. Two other suspects were taken into custody a short time late, all ages 17 and 18, all Arab residents of the eastern capital.

Three other suspects, all 17, are being indicted for the same activity, arrested on July 21, 2019.

B’chasdei Hashem there were no injuries in the operation.
