Hamas officials in Gaza reported on Sunday, 29 Tammuz 5773 that it broke a counterfeiting ring operating in Gaza. The report states that 20 million NIS in counterfeit currency was confiscated.
At least four people were arrested and equipment used to make the currency was confiscated.
