New York City is keeping more than 400 air conditioned cooling centers open.
The National Weather Service says there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Monday. But overall, it will be partly sunny, with a high around 89.
Residents can call the 311 hotline or go to the city’s website to find a nearby cooling center.
The locations include senior centers, Salvation Army community centers, and public libraries.
