Indeed in a few weeks we will be reading in the first Aliyah in Eikev, ‘b Miskainus lo Tochal bah lechem’. Hashem says you will not have any problems financially. Miskainoos, means as a nebach. I don’t know why people assume it will be harder for them financiallly. I would say certain goods and services, that are so cheap in the states, you can do without. I am hoping also to make Aliyah in the next few years.
