As senior police investigators move ahead in the latest investigation against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Shula Zaken, the former bureau chief in the PM’s Office was ordered to report to the National Fraud Investigations Unit in Bat Yam for questioning on Sunday in connection to the latest case against Mr. Olmert.
Zaken was compelled to leave her senior post a year ago when she came under investigation for appointing friends to senior tax positions and then obtaining tax benefits for friends.
As was the case when police questioned the prime minister on Friday, Shula was questioned ‘under caution,’ which signals a criminal indictment is likely.
