10:50PM (Wednesday): Catskills Hatzolah is on the scene of an MVA on Whittaker Road near Levine Road. Our reporter on scene tells ua that the crash involved only one vehicle, which veered off the road and slammed into a tree. The vehicle sustained major damage, but the driver escaped with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female driver was transported to Catskill Regional Medical Center by Hatzolah.

The Fallsburg Police Department are on the scene investigating the cause of the accident, and Hatzolah was assisted by the Monticello Fire Department.

Sources tell YWN Catskills, that the Fallsburg Police are investigating this as a possible DWI.
