Senior officials from Beijing’s Health Ministry, a city of some 20 million people, arrived in Israel and met with senior officials at Magen David Adom to learn about the advanced capabilities of Israel’s National Emergency Medical and Blood Services Organization. During their visit, the senior officials, including the deputy director of the Ministry of Health, toured MDA’s National Operations Center in Kiryat Ono and received an overview of the organization’s activities.

The delegation members were impressed by MDA’s advanced technology, its ability to operate volunteers and the community’s involvement in the National Emergency Medical and Blood Services Organization. As part of the visit to the MDA National Operations Center, the delegation members watched a special drill, in which they were exposed to some of Magen David Adom’s capabilities.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the visits of senior medical personnel from China, who come to learn from of MDA. At the same time, senior officials from MDA participate in professional delegations to China, as part of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of emergency medicine.
