President Shimon Peres on Tuesday, 24 Tammuz phoned Rabbanit Yehudit Yosef, a daughter-in-law of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita. Mr. Peres wished Maran a refuah shleima as the Gadol Hador recuperates from back surgery performed on Monday, 23 Tammuz.

“We strengthen the rav’s hand and that of the family. In my name and the name of many in Am Yisrael we wish him a speedy and complete recovery and return to us” stated the president.

The president was given an update on the rav’s medical condition, he recuperation following major surgery on his back which required general anesthesia.
