A 35-year-old tourist to Israel from Brazil was bitten by a snake in one of the kibbutzim in the Galil region and while she was initially in moderate condition, her situation worsened, and she is now listed in serious condition.

She arrived in the hospital on Tuesday night, in moderate condition, but it appears she had an allergic reaction and her condition deteriorated significantly, now listed in serious/unstable condition.

She remains intubated in a medically induced coma at this time.
