SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Six Kassam rockets were fired into the Sderot areas during Shabbos. No injuries were reported.

*Shani Checkpoint (Har Chevron) – A terrorist tried stabbing a soldier on Shabbos. Terrorist was shot dead. Soldier uninjured.
 
*Israeli removed by police from PA controlled area of Chevron.
 
*100 of kilograms of explosives intended for transfer to Gaza discovered by Egyptian security forces in Central Sinai.
 
*480 PA forces take up position in Jenin.

*Chilul Shabbos: Israel Railway continues to violate Shabbos. This Shabbos afternoon, a train rain from Lod-Tel Aviv, returning in the other direction 20 minutes later, running through Kfar Chabad. Chareidi MKs have filed a complaint with Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz.
 
*Five Arabs were arrested on erev Shabbos in the Har Chevron area, near Maon Farm, suspected of stealing agricultural equipment.
