A 22-year-old Bnei Brak resident is in custody, suspected of taking part in the vandalism attack against a Latrun monastery. That attack took place in September 2012.
The graffiti left at the site includes “Yeshu is a monkey”, “Maoz Esther” and “Ramat Migron”.
Acting Jerusalem Police Chief Mani Yitzchaki appointed a special team of investigators to probe the case. The suspect in custody will be remanded in the Rishon L’Tzion Magistrate Court.
