According to WNBC, dozens of people gathered at a meeting meant to firm up plans to shut down New York City in protest of the Sean Bell verdict in downtown Brooklyn Thursday night.
Al Sharpton said that “people will gather simultaneously at 4:00PM on May 7 at five high profile locations throughout the city”. Sharpton said “the protests will begin a series of acts of disobedience that will be repeated once a week thereafter”.
“Demonstrators are prepared to go to jail, and will be non-violent” he said.

LOL, for real!
Its not like Bloomie will tolerate this nonsense
Classic civil disobedience, which is far better than riots that have occurred on other occasions.
It’s clear. Sharpton and Wright are competing for the Bufoon of the Year Award.
sad thing is the black community gives him money
Is it not interesting yjat the newsmedia is not asking Obama or Hilary their opinion on the verdict or on Sharpton’s reaction. In addition Sharpton is not asking them to get involved!
All talk!
Sharpton leading a nonviolent protest?
Tell that to Yankel Rosenbaum!
If there is anything in the city to shut it down we should go and investigate this rosha till he crawls and begs the govt to stop. His entire operation is nothing short of a scam. He never met a bull horn and TV cameras he didnt like!
