HORRIFIC CRASH: Hatzolah Volunteers Treat MDA Ambulance Crew Involved In Major MVA [VIDEO & PHOTOS]


United Hatzalah first responders and ambulance team responded to a motor vehicle accident at the Holz Interchange on Kibbutz Galuyot Road in Tel Aviv on Thursday night.

A Magen David Adom ambulance had been involved in an accident with a car causing the ambulance to veer into a retaining wall of the overpass.

Four people were injured in the incident including numerous members of the ambulance crew.

United Hatzalah’s ambulance team transported one of the injured in light condition to the hospital. Other members of the ambulance team were transported by Magen David Adom ambulances that also arrived on the scene.

A spokesperson from United Hatzalah said in response to the event: “We are always saddened when first responders get injured in the line of duty. We were happy that our team was able to be there to help the team from MDA in this accident and we are thankful that the injuries sustained were not worse and that everyone involved should make a full recovery.”
