At a conference of activists, New Right party Chairman Naftali Bennet said the party is now continuing without Ayelet Shaked. He added that he would be happy is she decides to return and run with the party again: “She is talented and popular, but the movement is advancing without her”
The head of the New Right, former Education Minister Naftali Bennett, is not waiting for Ayelet Shaked and is expected to launch the campaign without her, but he does not rule out her return.
“I love Ayelet, we are good friends for many years, but we are moving forward without her, the door is open to her, she is talented and popular, but the movement is advancing without her,” said Bennet.
Bennet also referred to the possibility of right-wing parties running together: “There will be technical connections on the right, I believe in the connections, I spoke with all the party leaders on the right who are relevant to us, and I told them that we are interested in uniting”.
Bennet said of the repeated elections: “Even though this is a good opportunity for us, the repeated elections are not a good thing for the state. Our goal is that the New Right enters the government with political might for coalition talks, towards advancing those issues important to us”.
