Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon on Wednesday sent a clear message to IDF combat soldiers, telling them they may soon be activated for a major operation. The senior cabinet minister was accompanying Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to observe a major IDF training event in the Golan Heights.

The prime minister told reporters that for the IDF, a training event in the Golan Heights may soon become a reality. He stated “The exercise that we are doing here is not theoretical. The reality around us is changing very quickly. It is explosive and dynamic and we need to be ready accordingly…”
