A 79-year-old Jewish woman was the latest victim of anti-Semitism in France, near a shul on Tuesday. A metallic pellet was fired at her and struck her in her head. The Jewish umbrella organization in France announce the incident was an anti-Semitic attack.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. One day earlier, a bowl full of water was thrown at different worshippers leaving the same shul.
In an unrelated incident in Germany, an Orthodox Rabbi and a 20-year old man, who were both wearing Yarmulkahs, were attacked with an onslaught of anti-Semitic jeers and slurs. The onslaught on the Rabbi, Rabbi Chaim Barkhan, occurred on Monday night, in Dusseldorf. The Rabbi felt threatened enough that he escaped into a Jewish community center.
The incident with the 20-year old man occurred in Berlin. There the perpetrators tried to spit on him as well.
