9:45AM (Monday): A person has been fatally struck by a vehicle on Ocean Parkway, Monday morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and Church Avenue, when the victim was tragically struck by a tractor-trailer. FDNY EMS was on the scene, and advising the victim was in traumatic arrest, and then pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

The NYPD was on the scene conducting an investigation.

Expect heavy delays in the area, as the street will be closed.
