8:10AM (Monday): The Monticello Fire Department is currently on the scene of a working structure fire on St Johns Street and Bedford Avenue. A Second Alarm has been transmitted, and mutual aid assistance has been requested from the towns of Liberty and Rock Hill. The fire is in a private home.

UPDATE 11:30AM: Sources tell YWN Catskills that a body was found inside the home, as firefighters were searching the home during the fire.

An investigation is underway.
