The U.S. space agency NASA on Wednesday released a photo of the crash site on the moon where it is believed that the Israeli spacecraft known as Beresheet crashed.
The photo, taken from dozens of kilometers away, shows debris of the spacecraft and mainly shows the spot on the moon’s surface that was impacted by the crash.
From the distance of the photograph, it is unclear whether the crash resulted in a new crater on the moon’s surface. It is possible that the depth of the crater is too small to be seen in the photograph.
