In what is becoming an all too often occurrence, hoodlums who claim to be chareidim on Tuesday evening hurled stones at firemen who were responding to a call in an abandoned building located in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Tens of youths and children gathered around the firemen, disturbing them as they tried operating on the scene; including shouting obscenities and throwing rocks at them.

Fire department officials state that undoubtedly, the actions of the youths delayed them from extinguishing the fire as they had to “pull back from fighting the fire and hide under the cover of a neighboring building until the hail of rocks stopped”, Jerusalem fire department spokesman Udi Gal explained. The fire commander was hit in a shoulder with a large stone, and B’chasdei Hashem, he did not sustain serious injury.
Jerusalem district fire officials explain, “the department intends to insist that civilians who savagely attack firefighters will be prosecuted and punished in accordance with the law. The firefighters also intend to personally sue anyone who attacks the firefighters.”
At the same time, the Jerusalem Districts emphasize that, “these serious and violent incidents will not deter the firefighters, who will continue to provide optimal operational service to all residents of Jerusalem in order to protect human life and property.”

I was very pleased to read the headline of this article:
HOODLUMS DRESSED IN CHAREIDI CLOTHING, as opposed to CHAREIDIM in general
Basically radical chareidi arsonists. We should just see their houses burn down then, and then walk away. Oy.
